I have a Scott 299-B amplifier that has had a few things done to it. New caps and it's had a thorough component upgrade. It's probably not as nice as the Scott amps put out by Mapleshade, but good enough for my current needs. I felt that the bass was a little muddy, there could be more clarity in the midrange, and my speakers are sensitive to treble that has distortion.
I thought I'd try the tube anchors that Pierre talk about, see what the big deal is. At first it wasn't an earth-shattering experience, but the improvements are now very real, especially when I remove the tube anchors again. There's a lot of focus on individual instruments and sounds that wasn't there before. Especially the midrange has calmed down with clearer starts/stops of transients, bass has firmed up, and the highs just sing soaringly with an ease not previously there.
I love my tube anchors. For me it was a big investment just to buy those, but if I can afford it in the future, I will purchase all sorts of improvements from Mapleshade to unlock the potential of my sound system. Very impressive! I want more.

I anchored and grounded two stock JAN 6922 tubes within my Musical Fidelity X-CAN V3 / Stefan AudioArt Equinox Cable / Sennheiser HD-650 setup. Without a doubt this was the single best (and least expensive) improvement I made to my "personal auditorium". The brass-weighted 6922s offer a vibrant and deeper sound stage; the stringed instruments are absolutley transformed. Notably, the headphone listening fatigue I use to encounter has completely disappeared.
P.S. The only downside I have to mention is that many of my "commercial recordings" now too easily reveal how poorly recorded they are - actually, they're pitiful. Anymore, I can only listen to them in the car with the windows down.

You asked for feedback once I grounded all 8 Tube Anchors. I confess to skepticism before doing it. I couldn't (can't) figure out how that could make a difference.
Did it EVER! I am now a true believer. I'm not good with those phrases magazine reviewers are so fond of, but everything sounds more real, depth increased enormously, separation of voices & instruments seems razor sharp, there's lots of what the reviewers call "air." (Tube Anchors are) an enormous improvement to an already exceptional system.
Thanks,
Len

I have just installed your Anchor A's on the two 6922 tubes in my Ah! Njoe Tjoeb 4000 CD Player, just to see what would happen.
Results? Nothing short of a major miracle! Suddenly, I have a clearly defined 360-degree sound stage, with nothing coming out of my speakers, but with instrumentalists placed precisely about my listening area. What a wonderful way to start the new year.
