I. Design and Performance:
The Time-Aligned Buttress gives the same jaw-dropping sonic benefits as the Maple Bedrock while raising the speaker to 10" above the floor. The stand mass is increased by about 300%, thus offsetting the extra height's lessened acoustic boundary reinforcement. My careful listening tests showed no detectable difference in sound between the two. The Time-Aligned Buttress is a 10" high version of the Rooted Buttress with the brass rear corner-posts and the Triplepoint cone used for adjustable tilt-back on the Bedrock.
The Time-Aligned Buttress will handle speakers up to 11" wide and 11" deep.
