This is a rather ominous photo of Raymond's clamping wood rack. After being sanded smooth, the planks are vertically laminated into 15", 18" or wider boards. Under Pierre's instruction, Raymond uses hard-drying polyurethane glue to bond them, not soft carpenter's glue. (This is one of the myriad of details that optimizes the sonic performance of our wood products.) Once glued, the boards are then clamped into this Inqisition-like rack to dry for 24 hours.
