Here is a "small" pile of freshly cut maple, basking in the spring sun. This photo was taken at the saw mill where we buy whole maple logs to source our wood products. The mill is run by two Amish brothers, Levi and Israel. Both are laconic but friendly and have beards like biblical prophets.
